AI PLUGIN
Anthropic added MCP Tasks and Elicitations to Claude, giving plugins two new abilities: working on longer jobs and asking for input when they need it. Both are live in the Claude Code CLI, with other Claude products to follow.
Tasks lets a plugin handle lengthy work, such as deep research, on its own server while Claude carries on.
Elicitations lets a plugin pause and ask you a question through a terminal dialog, whether it needs a missing detail or your approval for a refund.
Remote tasks keep running after you exit Claude Code. Reopen the same session to collect the result. Tasks is in public beta.

A 20-minute research job shouldn’t put everything else on hold. Tasks lets a plugin work in the background while you continue, and Elicitations gives it a way to ask before making a decision on your behalf. For MCP developers, jobs with long waits or approval steps are useful places to start.

AI TOOLS

CapCut announced a ChatGPT plugin for video generation and editing, previewed at CapCut World LA. It’s coming soon, with a workflow that starts in your conversation and carries the draft into CapCut’s editor for finishing and publishing.
Describe the idea in ChatGPT, and the plugin takes it from there. You don’t have to start by assembling clips on an empty timeline.
CapCut’s generation and editing tools turn the conversation into a draft video inside the chat.
Open that draft in CapCut’s web editor to adjust the cut, polish the details, and share or publish the result.

Getting an idea onto a timeline is often where a quick video becomes an afternoon project. CapCut’s plugin promises a first cut you can take straight into its editor, without rebuilding it there. For social clips, the idea, script, and draft could happen in one conversation.
AI AGENTS
xAI added Vault to Grok Bot, letting you store logins, payment cards, and contact information in Settings. Save the details once, and any Bot on your account can use them to sign in and check out.
Add a Login, Card, or Contact entry in Settings. During a chat, you can also save details entered through a Secure Form or accept a Save to Vault offer when sharing a card photo.
Cards fill payment fields, while contact entries supply shipping and billing details. Bots can see saved login entries and contact information, but not passwords, card numbers, or security codes.
Vault requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. Passwords and card numbers can only be changed or deleted in Settings, and saved values aren’t shown again.

Vault is Grok Bot’s fourth straight update aimed at finishing tasks without handing them back to you. It already builds reports, uses your phone’s apps, and signs in through 1Password. The Bot can’t see your passwords or card numbers, but it can spend, so start small and check purchases.
HOW TO AI
Use your writing and post data to create graphics and captions in your voice.
Give Claude Code your writing, brand rules, and LinkedIn exports, and it can compare past posts and help turn your next idea into a graphic and caption. You’ll need Claude Code, an eligible account, and a LinkedIn account.

Step 1: Set up the studio
Create a linkedin-studio folder with data, graphics, and samples inside. Start Claude there and ask it to interview you about your audience, topics, colors, font, and writing preferences. Save the answers in CLAUDE.md, then check that the rules sound like you.
Step 2: Add your posts
Request your post archive through LinkedIn’s Data privacy settings and export your creator analytics. Put the relevant files in data/. Ask Claude to inspect the columns, match posts by URL or ID, and report unmatched rows. If you haven’t posted yet, use three writing samples to establish your voice.

Step 3: Find your patterns
Have Claude compare your top posts by impressions and engagement. Ask for recurring topics, formats, and openings, supported by examples and numbers. Check two against LinkedIn. Then choose an idea and supply a detail from your own experience before drafting.
Step 4: Make the graphic
Ask for four 1080x1350 versions using the same wording: a notes page, recipe card, folder window, and code editor. Use your brand colors and font. Pick one, give a specific correction, and check the text at phone size.

Step 5: Write and preview
Get three hooks, choose one, and ask for a caption using only your supplied facts. Review it beside the graphic in a local feed-style preview. Check every claim, then save the workflow as a linkedin-post skill so you can reuse it for the next idea.
