AI MODELS
Google introduced Gemini 4 Carbon for cybersecurity and lengthy, multi-step projects. It takes first place on version 5.0 of the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index with a score of 59.
Google reports scores of 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for demonstrating exploits, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for fixing their root causes.
Carbon is designed to flag missing or conflicting information and ask before acting. Google also says it blocked every attack in Gray Swan’s indirect prompt injection test.
Access starts with cyber defenders in Google’s Fairwind Program, followed by developers, businesses, and consumers. Introductory API pricing is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens.

Finding a security flaw is only the beginning. Teams still need to confirm it can be exploited and fix the underlying problem. Carbon targets that whole process, though benchmark scores won’t tell every team how it handles their systems. The initial Fairwind rollout will put it in defenders’ hands before broader access.

AI TOOLS
OpenAI started adding monthly API credits to eligible ChatGPT Pro and Business subscriptions. Subscribers claim them through ChatGPT billing and can create an API key using the OpenAI Developers plugin in ChatGPT or Codex.
Pro subscribers receive credits matching their monthly plan price: $100, $200, or $500, depending on the tier.
Business workspaces receive $20 per paid Standard seat and $100 per paid Premium seat. Credits are shared across the workspace, capped at $500 each month.
Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. The first allocation is prorated based on how much of the current period remains.

A ChatGPT subscription and an API project have meant two separate bills. These credits cover some API usage within an existing eligible subscription, which could lower the cost of testing an app or agent. The catch is timing: credits expire each cycle, so their value depends on how much your team actually uses.
AI LEGAL
Anthropic added a gallery of ready-made artifacts to Claude for Legal, including interactive trackers and dashboards. Each opens with an example, and outputs link back to the sources behind them.
A citation checker flags inaccurate quotes, incorrect page numbers, and sources that don’t support a claim. A regulatory scanner places upcoming rules on a timeline and ranks their business impact.
Partner tools include Harvey Intake for legal requests, Foley & Lardner’s Obligations Checker for agreements, and PwC’s Subpoena Response Tool for first drafts. Legora and Orrick have more coming.
Teams can supply documents, ask Claude to adapt an artifact, and connect playbooks through more than 60 legal connectors, including Bloomberg Law and Filevine.

A wrong page number is easy to miss and tedious to check across a long brief. These tools offer a first pass on that work and a way to track obligations or upcoming rules. Source links help lawyers inspect the results, while shared artifacts let colleagues use the same tool once it fits the team’s workflow.
HOW TO AI
Start your day with your meetings, urgent emails, and deadlines in one place.
ChatGPT Work can prepare a briefing from Gmail and Google Calendar every weekday morning, even while your laptop is closed. You’ll need a paid account with Work access and a Google account, and this setup uses your included plan allowance.

Step 1: Connect Gmail and Calendar
Open ChatGPT and switch from Chat to Work at the top. Go to Settings, then Plugins, select Gmail, and connect your Google account. Repeat for Google Calendar, checking that you’ve chosen the right account for both. If Work hasn’t appeared yet, it isn’t available on your account.
Step 2: Write your briefing prompt
Request four sections: today’s meetings and what to prepare, people waiting for replies, deadlines in the next three days, and items that can wait. Start with emails from the last 24 hours. Ask ChatGPT to check whether you’ve already replied, link every item to its source, and stay under 250 words. Keep the task read-only: no sending, deleting, or changing events.

Step 3: Run it once
Send the prompt and approve Gmail and Calendar access if asked. Compare meeting times with your calendar and open a few source links. If newsletters appear as replies you owe, tell ChatGPT to exclude them unless they need action. For an unavailable source, check the connection and whether your selected model supports the tools.
Step 4: Schedule it every morning
In the same conversation, ask for the corrected briefing every weekday at 7 AM. Name your timezone explicitly and keep the same sections, source links, and read-only rules.
Open Scheduled and confirm the task is active with the right next run time. If it’s missing, ask ChatGPT to check whether it was saved before creating another.
Enable push or email alerts under Settings, then Notifications. You can edit or pause the routine from Scheduled whenever your needs change.
