AI AGENTS
OpenAI introduced Appshots, giving ChatGPT Work and Codex all the context from whatever app is currently in front of a user, so they can understand what's on screen and act on it directly, whether that's a Slack thread, a form, a video editor, or a trip itinerary.
Appshots lets ChatGPT Work read the actual content of an open app, so it can summarize a Slack thread or check a form's fields without any extra steps.
The same feature can also draft replies, fill out forms, or write follow-ups to posts on a dashboard, all based on what's actually visible on screen at the time.
Appshots also handles visual and structured content just as easily, so it can trim a video in iMovie or turn a recipe into a grocery list.
Normally, you'd have to describe what's on your screen before ChatGPT could act on it. Appshots removes that requirement, reading whatever app is already open, whether it's a form, a thread, or a video timeline, and acting on it directly.
AI TOOLS
Anthropic added the ability to resume terminal sessions in the Claude Code desktop app. You can now type /resume to pick any session started from the CLI and continue working in it, with all conversations and context kept.
Typing /resume in the desktop app will pull up any session originally started from the terminal, letting users switch surfaces without losing anything.
The full conversation and context carry over exactly as they were, meaning the desktop app isn't starting a fresh session, it's continuing the same one.
This works one direction, terminal to desktop, giving developers who prefer a lighter terminal workflow the option to move into a fuller interface mid-task.
Switching from the CLI to the desktop app has always meant having to re-explain what you were working on. /resume removes that step entirely, you can now pick the session back up with the same conversation and context intact.
AI AGENTS
Grok Bot added improved support for X, automatically creating a developer account with included credits the moment a user connects their X profile.
Connecting an X profile now automatically creates a developer account, skipping the manual signup step entirely.
Included credits ship with the account right away, giving new developers a starting balance to begin testing without any upfront costs.
This closes the gap between simply having an X account and actually having a working developer setup, rather than adding a new capability to Grok Bot itself.
Setting up a developer account is usually a separate process, disconnected from the account you already use. This removes that step, connecting an X profile creates the developer account automatically, credits included, with no extra signup required.
HOW TO AI
Some tasks aren't hard, they're just repetitive. Claude Artifacts can build a tool that does that task instantly, and now it remembers your data between sessions too.

Persistent storage has a second mode, shared data, so anyone else who opens it can see it too.

Step 5: Iterate on it live
Refine through conversation instead of starting over each time something's off.
The date field is confusing, change it to show how many days until the follow-up instead of the raw date
