AI AGENTS
OpenAI upgraded GPT-6 Astra Pro in ChatGPT with parallel agents, faster responses, and better plugin and tool use. The update is available to Pro subscribers in the Chat tab.
Several agents can tackle different parts of one request at once, with one gathering sources while another works on a summary.
Follow each agent’s progress as it works, then open completed sections to see what it produced.
Alongside the new agents, Astra Pro responds more quickly and makes better use of connected plugins and tools.
A big research job can involve searching, reading, comparing, and writing before you get anything back. Splitting that work across agents could shorten the wait for market scans or literature reviews. Seeing their progress also gives you a chance to spot a wrong turn before it reaches the final answer.

AI MODELS
Meta removed wording from its updated commercial terms that said it could use content from business accounts’ websites to train and improve its AI products.
The clause covered content from a business’s domains, pages, and URLs. Legal experts told Nieman Lab the wording could give Meta permission to scrape publishers’ websites.
Meta says the crawling terms were only intended for its advertising and business products, and it has rewritten them to make that clear.
A spokesperson said the revision doesn’t change how Meta’s web crawlers operate. Publishers are still pursuing copyright cases against AI companies, including Meta.
A business account’s terms can reach beyond what you post on the platform. This wording raised questions about rights to content on a company’s own website, prompting public scrutiny and a rewrite. For publishers and brands, it’s a reason to check what updated terms say about AI training and content use.
AI TOOLS
xAI updated Grok Bot with faster responses, a refreshed design, and reliability improvements. It now finishes computer tasks three times faster on average and answers other requests in less than half the time.
Chat cards have a cleaner layout, while a new typeface and themes give the app a fresh look.
Voice calls are quicker and more reliable, and the Bot is better at recalling details from earlier spoken conversations.
Email now supports plus aliases, so you can set a routine to run only when a message reaches a particular address.
Handing off a quick task loses its appeal if the agent takes longer than doing it yourself. The speed boost could make Grok Bot more useful for small jobs like filling in forms. Email aliases add another practical touch: receipts and newsletters can go to separate addresses and trigger different routines.
HOW TO AI
Trace broken formulas, review the fixes, and check your totals before moving on.
Use Claude’s Google Sheets extension to inspect formulas and propose fixes beside your spreadsheet. Select Opus 5.5 if available, then make a copy or name the current version before starting.
Step 1: Install the extension
Open Claude’s Google Workspace Marketplace listing and confirm the publisher. Install it, open Extensions, then Claude, then Open Claude, and sign in. Check that Opus 5.5 is available. If Extensions is missing, the file is still an .xlsx: open File, then Save as Google Sheets.
Step 2: Map the spreadsheet
Enable “Ask before edits.” Request each tab’s purpose, input ranges, formulas, and dependencies, with cell references. Ask it to trace the main total back to its inputs. Compare the map with what you know, and correct missed connections before starting the audit.
Step 3: Find the errors
Audit one tab at a time for error values, circular references, hardcoded numbers, incomplete ranges, inconsistent formulas, and totals that don’t reconcile. Each task stops after six minutes, so start with the totals tab. Ask for severity, evidence, and suggested fixes.
Step 4: Review each fix
Request the old formula, proposed replacement, and affected totals. Approve one change at a time, then inspect it in the formula bar. For repeated hardcoded rates, use a labeled Tax rate input instead of 1.08 inside each formula. Version history can restore an earlier state, but restoring a whole version may also remove later edits.
Step 5: Check the results
Request a change report and compare earlier values in version history. Recalculate representative rows, including one affected by a fix, check the main totals, and rerun the audit. One correct row doesn’t confirm the rest of the spreadsheet. Name the reviewed version “Audited” and keep the change report.
